Overview
Potassium dichromate is an orange to red colored, crystalline, inorganic compound that emits toxic chromium fumes upon heating. Potassium dichromate is highly corrosive and is a strong oxidizing agent. It is used in painting, printing, electroplating and pyrotechnics.
